Hello, I'm Dr Beth Yule - Senior Osteopath, Headache & Migraine Advocate & Educator, and I have an unwavering passion and dedication for helping those living with chronic headaches, migraine, and related conditions such as vestibular disorders and post concussion syndrome, gain understanding and empowerment, helping them in their journey towards a life not ruled by these conditions.
My journey into this field began with my own battle against chronic daily headaches and migraine. Frustrated with a lot of misinformation, lack of answers and understanding, constantly being dismissed and unheard, and poor treatment and management, I delved deep into the world of headaches and migraine, determined to find answers for myself. Now, armed with a wealth of knowledge and experience, my goal is to help others living with headaches and migraine be heard, understood, provide education and empowerment, and help them find a better pathway.
My approach to care is rooted in holistic wellness. We are people, and individual people, not just conditions, and this ideology is the basis of my treatment approach to headaches, migraine and associated conditions. People should be assessed as a whole person, not in separate parts, to determine what are contributing towards their condition, and address these factors with an individual approach for their unique needs.
My passion for raising awareness, understanding and educating is reflected in my contributions to articles, a podcast, and webpage enhancements for Osteopathy Australia, hosting seminars and workshops in allied health clinics and the general public, providing educational content online, utilizing collaborative treatment with other healthcare professionals and more.
My endeavor to upskill the knowledge of fellow practitioners is driven by a belief in collective progress. By equipping healthcare professionals with tools and insights, we create a collaborative network that empowers more individuals to find greater, long term outcomes from chronic headaches and migraine.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy a lot of down time, aiming for a content and well rounded life. I love spending time with my husband and 2 cats, cuddling on the couch, eating pizza, watching and reading romantic dramas, watching anime, martial arts (I am a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo), pilates and more. And despite getting cold easily, my happy place is the snow and I love skiing.
